Conversation of Dump Yard Into Luscious Garden

The Baruneswar Mahavidyalaya, Jajpur has received a matching grant of Rs 4,11,000 from “Mo College Abhijan” against the contribution of Rs. 2,06,000 by the Alumni Association of the college. Along with Alumni donation, the total amount raised for the college project works stands as Rs 6,18,000. With the said amount, the college has proposed a project for the construction of Garden, installation of Ro Water Purifier, Earth Filling and Fencing Work.
Alumni Rabindra Kumar Parida who has contributed Rs 50,000 for the project, believes that certain beautification of the college is a necessary step. In fact, all the Alumni who have contributed for the project feel that the installation of RO Water Purifier would help resolve the clean drinking water issue at the college. Moreover, the construction of two gardens and earth filling and fencing works would add to the beautification of the campus.
Established in the year 1980, the college boasts of a list of eminent scholars. The college Alumni association has been registered since 2005. The college earned a name for itself in the area when locals converted a dumping yard into a luscious garden as its entrance area with the matching grant from Mo College Abhijan.
The Mo College Abhijan, a flagship initiative of the Govt of Odisha under the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, is serving as a thriving platform for the overall development of universities and colleges in the state.
