Khunta Degree Mahavidyalaya situated in the picturesque Mayurbhanj District started in the year 1993. Recently, alumna Smt Indumati Dash donated Rs 2 lakh for the construction of a reading room in the college.

Smt Indumati Dash always felt that education is the key to enlightenment. Keeping that in mind, she has contributed for the construction of the reading room in the college which will enable students to study in a calm atmosphere.

Principal of the college, Saroj Ranjan Tripathy said that the students’ reading room with separate toilet facility is the need of the hour. Smt Indumati Dash through her contribution has become a beacon of inspiration for everyone.
