Neelamadhab Mahavidyalaya, Kantilo, Nayagarh was established in the year 1977. The college has witnessed many renowned alumni who have made the college proud. Swapneswar Dalai is one such alumnus who has contributed Rupees Five Lakhs towards building a library in the college.

Behind the Contribution

The College didn’t have a proper library for the students. To overcome this shortcoming, Alumni Swapneswar Dalei donated an amount of Five Lakh in memory of his late father who was an avid reader.

To develop the college library, Mo College Abhijan released a matching grant of Rupees 10 Lakhs as the college offered a project report on E-library and Reading room. In total, a sum of rupees 15 Lakhs is received by the college for the development of the same.

The college lacked reference, competitive books, journals, magazines, career orientation, history and literature books. The amount received under Mo College Abhijan will be utilized in developing a modern e-Library and reading room with computers and Wi-Fi connection which will help students connect globally and study without barriers.
